Welcome to Christ Lutheran Church!

We are an inclusive Christian community in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) denomination. We follow Jesus and his teachings. We are not centered in judgment, but rather in God’s unconditional love for all people.

Lutheranism grew from Protestant roots and the teachings of Martin Luther. Our tradition is one of renewal and reform, striving to be faithful to the Gospel and to work toward more justice and wholeness in the world.

We are also committed to the full inclusion and affirmation of LGBTQIA+ folks and to the ongoing work of anti-racism.

Christ Lutheran Church is located at 4761 Cass Street, San Diego, CA 92109.
Free packing is available in our parking lots off Chalcedony Street.
